Mentoring is a kind of learning promotion with the goal of long-term growth, which is based on the common goals, expectations, trust and respect of the mentor and the mentee. Mentoring includes the exchange and dissemination of knowledge, skills, and experience. Both instructors and students can grow and benefit from the mentoring process. Mentees can learn professional knowledge, workplace experience, lessons in life, etc. from the mentor. The mentor can take the process as an opportunity to analyze, review, and summarize what he/she has learned. A successful mentorship program also depends to a large extent on the project role’s perception of their own benefits. The following is a summary of the benefits of being a mentee.
